Palumbo Superyachts have just launched X96, entry model for the Extra Yachts Triplex range. A three-deck motoryacht characterized by the comfort his wide internal volumes can offer.

Ever since the brand came into existence, Extra Yachts boats have always stood out as perfect to fully enjoy both cruising and roadstead. As a Group, Palumbo Superyachts have always counted on several brands – Columbus Yachts, Isa Yachts and, more recently, Mondomarine- for a superb superyacht range, living up to all kind of requirement. Francesco Guida’s contribution was crucial for the group to invest in a totally out-of-the-box product, with extra internal volumes to make these boats closer and closer to the idea a floating villa

The Triplex line raises the idea to the nth power, thanks to the third deck that gifts guests with the greatest comfort
Design, clearly signed by Francesco Guida, exalts contrasts between the superstructure soft and rounded surfaces and the strictly white topside, with its wide bronzed-glass surfaces, providing the interior with light and stunning views. It’s Hot Lab’s job here, the Milan based studio that designed an elegant and modern décor dominated by shading tints between scorched land and sand, , where naturally desaturate wood contrasts with satin white elements and black metals. Traditional decorations add a touch of classics, like pottery, pictures and wall lamps.

The layout shows a cockpit and a living area on the main deck, fitted with a huge freestanding sofa, uninterruptedly stretching towards the inner living room where a scenic C-shaped couch, an occasional armchair and a disappearing tv console. The owner’s suite is on the main deck, prow; to the sleeping area it adds wardrobe, vanity and a large restroom. Four en-suite guests cabins are found on the lower deck, two Vips two twin-bedded.. A separate entrance accesses the crew area, composed of three cabins, three restrooms, dinette and laundry.

The upper deck was conceived as a wide en-plein-air living area, thanks to the broad opening windows that create a constant dialogue between internal and external spaces. This deck is home to the bridge, the kitchen and the dining room, connecting to one another through an up and down window, and , externally, a relaxation area with modular couch, bar and a 12 people-table. Same deck, prow, large sunbathing cushions were laid above the tender garage. The sundeck completes the picture, for those who love sunbathing and panoramic views: an observation point is part of the deck, to enjoy the sea and the sky while cruising.

The Dual-Mode Hull, thrusted by three IPS 1350 1000 hp Volvo Penta, allows the yacht a 17.5 kn top speed and a 12 knot cruising speed, the latter guaranteeing a 2000 nautical mile range.
