Sunseeker unveiled their new “Famous Five” over 2021, five perfect examples of the new style tendencies the yard has chosen to follow.
The new 90 Ocean is one of these models, embedding all technical features the rest of the range is due to take on. New layout solutions allowed 90 Sunseeker to increase her overall volume by 20%, as the increase in space on the main deck borders 25%.. This is mainly due to the new aft design, that turns the neighborhood into a terraced beach club.
The cockpit lounge, with its fully opening glass railing, directly faces the platform in a virtual dialogue that creates one single and wider space. The platform itself, protected by the gunwale on its sides, looks no more like an attachment but rather like an extension of the living area, now providing a 6×4 metre surface that easily meets any adaptation.
Nice and easy to use, the X-TEND system is enclosed within the aft mirror, and allows a wide range of sitting positions: from the classical sea-facing chaise longue, to the sunbathing cushions, to an extra sofa on the cockpit. It is the perfect beach club for socialization, thanks to its barbecue unit, yet equally perfect for water sports, with its integrated SeaStar walkway providing direct access to the sea.
Disappearing canopies increase flexibility and privacy on the cockpit and beach club. Externally, the prow area provides another chance to socialize, with its large central sunbathing island and comfortable side couches. The entire zone can be shaded by cloths and protections. An open-air cinema can also be set-up here, featuring a 140-inch screen and a laser projector
Internally, 90 Ocean shows Sunseeker’s new décor, obviously customizable on the owner’s demand. The main deck welcomes guests in an 8.80 x 5.60 metre dining room, furnished starboard with a huge couch and 65 inch QLED TV, dining room on the port side and the kitchen in the prow area. Full height windows allow perfect lighting in daytime, where a sophisticated LED light-system allows any required scenario. A separated room hosts the wheelhouse and chart work room.
Below deck, the layout shows a large full-beam owner’s suite in the middle, flawlessly finished with 2.5 metre high windows to guarantee a stunning sea view. The same finishing level is found in the guests’ cabins: one vip, and two twin bedded convertible into king size bedded ones.
As for the engines, Sunseekers offers a wide choice to a maximum of 3800 HP MAN, granting 90 Ocean her 26 knot estimated speed. The range is 1800 nautical miles at 12 knots.
