Vita X is the latest entirely electrically propelled power boat by Vita Yachts shipyard, the first yard to have been awarded with Clearwater Gold Standard in 2018. The Design Edition features elegant classic lines enriched with teak and light aluminium finishes designed by Borromeode Silva and produced by Neal Feay.

Vita X is ten metres long, the power house installed on board is made up of a pair of hydro-jets moved by electric motors with an output equivalent to 200 HP which translates into a top speed of 40 knots. Thanks to water cooled lithium-ion batteries the boat’s range is of approximately 26 nautical miles at a speed of 25 knots.

Vita X can carry up to eight passengers, the boat’s cockpit has been devised to be exploited in three diverse modes: High Speed Mode, with all the seating arrangement facing forward while cruising. Lounge Mode when opting for a convivial atmosphere with seating facing the cockpit and Dining Mode will lift up the table thanks to an electric/hydraulic system at the push of a button.

BorromeodeSilva’s studio, specializes in designing luxury products and confirmed its capacity in the yachting segment last year with its Superfluid project.
“We firmly believe in joining traditional design with cutting edge technology, and craftsmanship with innovation in a variety of diverse fields. Reconciling design and aesthetics with technology and engineering is not only possible but represents the capacity of each and every project of ours as well as the core of our enterprise” says Carlo Borromeo senior studio partner with Fabio de Silva, Filippo Sgalbazzi and Marcello Biancullo.
